Heating + Cooling from a Mini Split
Many ductless mini splits use heat-pump technology and can provide both heating and cooling. Heating and cooling capability depends on the selected equipment — we don't promise every mini split configuration includes heating.

Condensate / Drainage
Mini split indoor units may produce condensate during cooling operation. The drainage method depends on the unit and application, routing must be considered during installation, and some applications may require additional condensate-management solutions.
Electrical Requirements
Mini split equipment requires appropriate electrical service and connections. Requirements depend on the selected equipment and installation — we don't publish breaker sizes, conductor sizes, disconnect requirements, or DIY wiring instructions.
Controls & Thermostat Considerations
Mini splits may use manufacturer-provided controls or remotes, wall controls, app-connected controls depending on equipment, or other compatible controls depending on system design. Control options vary by equipment — we don't assume one control type fits every mini split.
A traditional smart thermostat is not universally compatible with ductless mini-split equipment. We evaluate compatibility for your specific equipment rather than assuming a particular thermostat will work.

Diagnostic Service Fee — $75
Our current HVAC diagnostic/service fee is $75. The fee covers diagnosing the system, identifying the issue, and providing a repair estimate. If you proceed with the approved repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair according to current company policy. This is a diagnostic visit — not a "free estimate."
Free Replacement Estimates
Complete HVAC system replacement estimates are free when the visit is specifically for gathering replacement information — evaluating your needs, taking pictures, and preparing a replacement proposal. That's different from a diagnostic visit, which addresses an existing system problem. Tell us which type of visit you need when you schedule.
Financing Options for Your HVAC Investment
